Hi-Life Diners Club started 23 years ago. After starting with just 15 restaurants Hi-Life Diners Club now has a choice of over 800 restaurants covering an area from Cheshire to the Lakes and even into Yorkshire. I joined with my husband in their second year and we have had a lot of pleasure out of being Hi-Life Members. It is a lovely feeling to be presented with a bill for say, £30 and only have to pay £15. When you join you receive a Hi-Life Card and a book which gives details of the restaurants and the offers they are making. The offers can vary from 25% discount on a meal for up to four people, a three course complimentary, even a six course complimentary meal at one restaurant or a main course at another. This means you can decide how hungry you feel and have a full meal which will cost you more or just pop out for a quick main course meal. You only need to dine out two or three times to recover your membership fee. Some of the restaurants allow you to use your Card more than once, some allow two Hi-Life Cards if four people are dining, some restaurants are happy for you to dine at weekends. Sounds confusing - but it is really quite easy to browse the directory and find a restaurant making the offer you want.
